Join us for an epic challenge on our NC500 Banger Rally Route between 5th and 8th March 2025!

What is the North Coast 500?

Firstly, the NC500 is the must do road trip for any motoring enthusiast in the UK. 516 miles of undeniably stunning scenery takes you around the coast with white sandy beaches, fishing villages and rugged mountains. Also, Scotland is specifically home to the worlds best choice of castles and whiskey distilleries.

Where does the Rustbox Rallies North Coast 500 Route go?

Rustbox Rallies NC500 Route has been extended to start from Fort William, otherwise known as the Gateway to Ben Nevis. This takes you on a scenic drive along the shore of Loch Ness. You may even get a chance to see the infamous Loch Ness Monster!

Once passed Inverness you will travel further up the north-east coast and eventually to the infamous John o’ Groats. Following on from this famous visitor attraction you will head west and around the top shore of Scotland. Eventually you’ll start to come down the winding roads of the north-western parts. Meanwhile, the further you keep travelling, the more undeniably beautiful the landscape becomes.

Is our NC500 Banger Rally Route in 2025 easy?

The Rustbox Rallies NC500 route is the ideal challenge for first timers to get into the banger rally scene. The challenge is also planned at a time just enough outside of the popular season to not be busy. We should also get some reasonably good weather.

Your banger rally journey sets off from Fort William on Thursday morning, then takes you anticlockwise around the NC500 route. The challenge finishes with the awards and finishers party in Inverness on Saturday evening.

Teams will need to book their own accommodation, however there’s plenty to cater for all budgets.
